This project is the brain child of Eunice Uchechioma
Agu. She is an orphan that believes in developing
less privileged children, helping them to achieve
their dream. She is very Passionate about football
so she established AG Eunice International Football
Academy to train street children.
As a keen soccer fan herself with an understanding
of how powerful an impact soccer can have she
decided to set up International Football Academy .
And so AG Eunice International Football Academy was
born.
PASSION
FOR THE GAME
It is interesting how the game of football is
growing fast among many Nigerian kids. There seems
to be no stumbling block for these kids who go to
any extent to get their names into the record books
of the nation.
Despite their being deprived of the essentials of
football which include jerseys, football boots and
other football equipments.
In, Africa , there are kids with no home, no shelter
and the worst of it all, no LIFE. With your honest
might you could help save a kid off the street and
moreover, give meaning to the lives of many who have
nothing in this life...We exist to champion the
cause of these kids through sports. We however
cannot do anything without your support. Your
generous donation matters...it can save a life.
The project is delivered by our full time Technical
team and a strong team of dedicated volunteers. We
recruit players by working in partnership with
organizations that have existing relationships with
our target groups, such as homeless hostels, day
centers and local authorities.
The children are enrolled in schools to continue
their education along side the football training and
also some of them who are not academically good
learnt trade to become masons, plumbers, carpenters,
builders etc. |

We have training for all the children from Monday to
Friday early morning before they attend classes and
also compulsory evening training where that child
who doesn’t live on the Academy premises joins their
colleagues.
The Academy is involved in the State League and play
matches during the weekends. We have three
brakes within the year at the Academy that is Easter
Break, Summer Break and Christmas Break. This
allows the children to meet their families.
Our dedicated Technical Team is responsible for the
evaluation of the children at the end of every
month.
At
AG Eunice International football academy,
we believe in making everyone in the academy the
best we can, and we believe the game of football, if
given the right attention and direction can be
beneficial. It is the
START
that matters and so we inculcate the spirit of
sportsmanship into our kid’s right from the onset. more>> |
